Wie das Statistische Bundesamt mitteilt, standen 2021 in Deutschland rund 1,2 Millionen in den privaten Haushalten. Und das sind 20 % mehr Elektrofahrr\u00e4der als im Vorjahr. Der erfolgreichste Hersteller ist \u00fcbrigens Cube. Die g\u00e4ngigste Form von E-Fahrr\u00e4dern sind die sogenannten Pedelecs (Pedal Electric Cycle), bei denen der Fahrer durch einen Elektromotor bis maximal 250 Watt unterst\u00fctzt wird. Die Unterst\u00fctzung wirkt nur beim Treten und bis zu einer Geschwindigkeit von 25 Km\/h.
